A Slide Show of "Dancing Empire: Four Centuries of Spanish Dance"

BALAM's recent performance of its new program, Dancing Empire: Four Centuries of Spanish Dance, created in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, received a resoundingly enthusiastic response from the capacity audience at the Leonia Public Library, Leonia, NJ.  At the conclusion of the show, people came up to congratulate all the artists and stayed for three-quarters of an hour to ask questions and share their inspired thoughts.

The event featured Inma Heredia, BALAM's resident guest actor and the world's first and only Flamenco stand-up comedian, as host and entertainer, as well as guest dancer Barbara Romero of Danzas Españolas, along with BALAM's winning dance team, Robin Gilbert and Carlos Fittante. Toshinori Hamada was on sound, and the lovely Nani Devi greeted the audience at BALAM's welcoming table as they arrived.  We hope you will enjoy this 90 second slide show of the event.
